We follow a curriculum endorsed by experts in the ballroom industry, including Dance Vision International Dance Association (DVIDA), and National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and the imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).
Our teachers train daily in both American and International styles of competitive ballroom dancing, along with the lates social dance styles, and are given frequent certification testing to ensure they have the most up to date knowledge of patterns, techniques, and competitive requirements.
For students looking to expand their dance knowledge even further, S&S Dance Company also provides high level instruction in other popular styles of dance.
All of this expert knowledge is broken down through our customized teaching process so that our students learn how to dance in a way that is simple, fast, and fun !

S&S Dance
Company is bringing ballroom dance to areas where it is lacking. While there are many dance studios near the beach, there was a need for this experience to come to other Hampton Roads areas. We have students from Southside cities such as – Chesapeake, Northern Suffolk, Portsmouth, Norfolk as wells Peninsula cities like – Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg and Yorktown.
