S & S DANCE

My boyfriend and I have been taking lessons for the past 4 months. We love the private and group lessons! Simone and Simona are both energetic and encouraging. They recently performed in Italy and did amazing. I feel blessed they were recommended to me!!

At 50+ I didn't think I could learn how to dance but Simone makes it so easy! My husband and I are having a blast. We're so grateful to have found S&S Dance and are looking forward to the group classes on top of our private lessons.

I have had such a positive experience with S&S dance. I booked an introductory lesson because I wanted to be able to dance at a wedding and not look like a fool. One of the best decisions I have ever made. Honestly the only frame of reference I had for men dancing was that they were either a super dancer like John Travolta or they were the butt of a joke like Al Bundy. So I was frankly a little nervous at the first lesson, as I knew I was no Travolta. But Simona made it fun and I had a blast. And of course a dance teacher is probably the only person on the planet who’s excited about the fact that you can’t dance. Anyway, I did my 3 lesson introduction and I have been taking lessons for two years as I am writing this. For me this was a big win. Since I began dancing I have more energy, am happier, and a couple health problems I had just vanished. Plus it’s a beautiful art form in its own right: a great combination of music and exercise which you spend with a woman in your arms. & of course it’s just plain fun. Frankly that’s a combination that’s hard to top. Social dancing was before a total drag, but it’s now fun for me and a great opportunity to show a lady a good time. You want to see a disappointed woman, tell her the line everybody uses: “I don’t dance.” You want to see a happy women, ask her “would you like to dance?” So don’t tell me you don’t dance. Everybody can dance. You come to S&S dance to learn how to do it well. Simone and Simona know how to dance, they know how to teach dance, and you’ll have a fun time doing it. You won’t regret it.

I Love To Dance and Studio 2C Ballroom Dance Studio in Northen Suffolk has a warm and inviting atmosphere where I can Cha Cha, Salsa, Swing, Waltz and Tango my way around the dance floor to popular music! I have fun dancing, meeting other dancers and new friends. Come join us and take dance lessons, group classes and/or learn a dance routine for a social event. Studio 2C is way more than a ballroom dance studio; it's a dance family! In a warm, welcoming atmosphere, one can do anything desired, from learning a few key steps for an upcoming wedding reception to studying under world-class instructors to acquire the fine points of American and/or international ballroom dance (smooth or rhythm) toward a goal of performing in a showcase or entering a competition. Whatever goal you choose, your Studio 2C "team" will cheer you on. What's more, if you're suffering from lackluster Friday nights, you can start kicking off your weekend on the dance floor, taking occasional breaks for some yummy refreshments. If you've always had a secret desire to dance but never knew what to do about it, here's your answer. I started late in life, and I love it! As far as I'm concerned, it beats the gym way to pieces for my needed cardio exercise, as well as stimulating my brain in a number of ways and giving me lots of opportunity for interaction with other dance-lovers. Getting to dress up in pretty dance-wear, pretending to be Ginger Rogers, is a perk too! You really should think about checking it out!

I love Studio 2C! It's convenience, fun and relaxed. If you want to get some exercise and have fun at the same time, this is the place. It doesn't matter if you are a waltz/foxtrot kind of person or a salsa/hustle person or even line dancing, you can do it all here. I have danced at a lot of studios in the Hampton Roads area and this is, by far, the most friendly and relaxed studio.

I joined Studio 2C in August for a ladies class not knowing what to expect. I was met by the owner Cathy & not having any lessons before I was nervous but soon felt at home. Soon learned that I am dancing with World Championship winning instructors, how exciting is that!! You are learning from the best of the best right here in Suffolk VA!! I highly recommend Studio 2C, beginners like me, or experienced, you will not be disappointed.
